Plasmacytoma: A tumor of predominately mature plasma cells can first present in the orbit as proptosis or decreased visual acuity with or without diplopic complaints. On imaging studies, the lesion appears smooth and often shows lytic destruction of orbital bone. Due to a high association, the patients with plasmacytoma need to be evaluated for multiple myeloma.
