Basic Science Lecture Series

This series of weekly lectures is designed for ophthalmology residents. Each program includes two one-hour lectures with occasional longer programs. Please call to verify topic and schedule, as times and dates for these special programs may change.

Day/Time: Fridays, 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.

These regularly scheduled conferences consist of instructive or unusual cases and involve audience participation.

This weekly oculoplastics/pathology conference is coordinated by Daniel M. Albert, MD, MS, Richard K. Dortzbach, MD, and Mark J. Lucarelli, MD. Fellows and residents present cases.

Day/Time: Tuesdays, 5:15 - 6:15 p.m.

Journal Club

Journal articles are assigned to a resident and faculty member to be discussed with the other residents and faculty at the meeting. Faculty from other departments are occasionally invited to give special presentations. For information regarding Journal Club, contact Michael C. Struck, MD.

Day/Time: 2nd Wednesdays, September through May, except January, 7:30 p.m.
Place: Faculty homes (rotates)
